About the Project

In my FMD 356 Visual Merchandising class, I completed a window merchandising directive project where I designed three separate window displays for the brand Issey Miyake using my CAD skills in Photoshop and Illustrator. This project challenged me to create compelling visual concepts that could be implemented in a store setting while staying true to the brand’s avant-garde and innovative identity. Each window display was crafted to capture the essence of Issey Miyake, utilizing dynamic compositions, bold silhouettes, and unique textures to reflect the brand’s artistic approach to fashion. Through thoughtful use of color and product placement, I wanted to intrigue customers and draw them into the brand’s world. By blending creativity with strategic visual storytelling, I developed window directives that aligned with Issey Miyake’s design philosophy and enhanced the overall shopping experience for consumers.
